Terry takes over the role from Ron Wille, who was recently appointed as President and COO. Terry recently left his position as Director of Alaska’s Maritime Training Center (AMTC). AMTC is a department of Alaska’s Vocational Technical Education Center (AVTEC) and is a division of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development. AMTC is the largest most comprehensive maritime training school in Alaska and one of the leaders in the nation. Ron brings to the position several decades of leadership and maritime experience. Ron became an integral part of the AAM team, joining in 2018 as the Business Development Manager. All American Marine Awarded Contract with BLUETIDE Puerto Rico for Construction of a 73’ Research Vessel
All American Marine is proud to announce that we have recently secured a contract to construct a research vessel for BLUETIDE Puerto Rico. This 73’ x 26.7’ aluminum catamaran, will be constructed to USCG Subchapter T standards for use on both near coastal and ocean routes. The twin-engine vessel will be BLUETIDE’S first vessel for their marine research, education, innovation, and conservation work based out of Puerto Rico. The mission of BLUETIDE is to “Influence, Innovate, Support and Increase the eco-responsible economic impacts of a sustainable “Blue Economic” in the US Caribbean,” and this vessel will help to achieve and grow their efforts in the region.

The Valdez Spirit: Repowering for a Promising Future
A true family business, Stan and Mary Helen Stephens started operating fishing and hunting charters out of Valdez, Alaska on their first vessel the 26-foot m/v Mary Helen, in 1971. Soon after, the rest of the family joined in, operating tours on the waters around Valdez and in Prince William Sound. They have been promoting the beautiful scenery and important resources of this community ever since, officially as Stan Stephens Glacier & Wildlife Cruises. The business has remained a valuable community asset, contributing economic, educational and environmental benefits to this region. It has even served a role in disaster relief when called upon.

All American Marine to Complete Construction of the First Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vessel in the U.S.
All American Marine, Inc. (AAM) has been awarded a contract by SWITCH Maritime (SW/TCH) to complete the aluminum construction and outfitting of a 70’ 84-passenger zero-emissions, hydrogen-powered, electric drive (“e-ferry”) that will operate in the California Bay Area (referred to as the ‘Water-Go-Round’ project). Prior to transfer to AAM, the project had begun at Bay Ship & Yacht shipyard in Alameda, CA where the aluminum hull and superstructure had been started. This is the first hydrogen fuel cell vessel in the US, representing a monumental step in the maritime industry’s transition to a sustainable future.
