WA Governor Jay Inslee Tours All American Marine

All American Marine (AAM) has had a busy schedule in the last two weeks, beginning with launching its newest 77’ fuel-efficient vessel for Puget Sound Express and capping it off with a special visit from WA Governor Jay Inslee.

Last week on Wednesday, July 13th, Governor Inslee visited our Bellingham facility. The Governor recognized the importance of the recently launched Sea Change, the world’s first USCG-approved commercial hydrogen fuel cell-powered vessel. All American Marine Delivers Second 87’ Innovative Catamaran for Major Marine Tours

All American Marine (AAM) has completed construction, launched, and delivered the Skana, a 150-passenger hydrofoil-assisted catamaran for Major Marine Tours. This is the second delivered to Major Marine Tours by All American Marine in two years, and a sister ship to the Spirit of Matushka, delivered in the Spring of 2021. This vessel will also operate out of Seward, Alaska, and will carry passengers on tours visiting Kenai Fjords National Park. All American Marine is Awarded Contract for Innovative Offshore Wind Survey Vessel

All American Marine (AAM) is proud to have been awarded the contract to build an innovative and proven research and hydrographic survey vessel for Geodynamics, an NV5 company. The R/V Shackleford is a 73’ x 26.7’ semi-displacement aluminum catamaran hull that was developed by Nic de Waal of Teknicraft Design in Auckland, New Zealand.  She’ll have the fundamental, and primary design elements of the Duke University Marine Lab’s R/V Shearwater and Blue Tide Puerto Rico’s R/V Blue Manta that were both recently commissioned, and now proven to be highly successful in their near-coastal research environments.

DNV awards Approval in Principle to All American Marine 92′ Crew Transfer Vessel Design

Global classification society DNV has issued an Approval in Principle (AiP) for All American Marine and Teknicraft Design’s 28 m (92’) Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) concept design. The quad engine design concept has a beam of 33.5’ with a projected speed of 29 knots, fully laden. This concept will incorporate Hamilton Jet’s parallel hybrid EHX system using Hamilton HTX waterjets, powered by quad MAN2862 LE 438 Tier 4 engines. The EHX system will allow for zero-emissions operations when using battery power and will enable both station keeping and slow speed operations, as well as boost power when needed.

AAM Launches 50’ Research Vessel for NOAA

All American Marine (AAM) has launched a 50’ Research Vessel for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), designated for the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary in Washington State. The twin-engine Teknicraft Design vessel was constructed by AAM to USCG Subchapter T standards. The vessel will carry up to 18 personnel on board on a near coastal route. Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary OCNMS) includes 3,188 square miles of marine waters off the rugged Olympic Peninsula coastline. The sanctuary extends 25 to 50 miles seaward, covering much of the continental shelf and several major submarine canyons.

Terry Federer joins All American Marine as Business Development Manager
